They triumphed over Puerto Rico with a score of 90-79. Carlik Jones, with an impressive 19 points and seven rebounds, led the charge, well-supported by Marial Shayok’s 15 points.

The game’s pivotal factor was the Bright Stars’ superior rebounding, grabbing 55 rebounds to Puerto Rico’s 37, which translated into 24 second-chance points compared to just two for Puerto Rico.

Team USA’s Dominant Start

Kevin Durant and LeBron James led the scoring with a combined 44 points. Durant, in particular, was a standout, shooting an astonishing 89 percent from the field.
