March Madness 2024: Women’s Basketball Tournament Schedule

- The 2024 NCAA women’s basketball tournament schedule is out, with second-round action starting on March 25th.
- The Final Four will take place on April 5th, with the championship game on April 7th, both hosted at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Road to the Championship
The tournament kicks off with Selection Sunday on March 17, followed by the First Four games on March 20-21. The first and second rounds will take place from March 22 to March 25. The Sweet 16 and Elite Eight rounds are scheduled from March 29 to April 1.
The much-anticipated Final Four will take place on Friday, April 5, with the second semifinal starting 30 minutes after the first game ends. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN. The grand finale, the NCAA championship game, will take place on Sunday, April 7 at 3 p.m. ET on ABC.
Regional Rounds and Venues
The regional rounds of the tournament will be held in various cities across the United States. The Sweet 16 and Elite Eight rounds will take place in Albany, NY at the MVP Arena, and in Portland, OR at the Moda Center. Both rounds are scheduled from March 29 to April 1.
Future Final Four and Championship Sites
Looking ahead, the Final Four and championship games for the next few years have also been announced. From 2025 to 2031, the games will be hosted in various cities including Tampa, FL; Phoenix, AZ; Columbus, OH; Indianapolis, IN; San Antonio, TX; Portland, OR; and Dallas, TX.
A Look Back at Past Champions
